Company Profile
Sirio Elettronica srl was founded in 1974 with the purpose of designing and producing high quality electromagnetic components in the industry and professional electronics, particularly in the field of power conversion,high frequency and high isolation applications. It has its registered and operational headquarters in Bresseo di Teolo (Pd).
Fields of application for Sirio components are: motor drives, welding, ups and the various areas where a high-frequency power conversion is used. The company currently produces 1.5 million components a year, with a turnover that has reached 10 million euros. More than 75 % of the products are sold in the European and international markets: from Germany to Spain, Sweden to South Africa, Brazil to Taiwan, Australia and China
The company is organized into several units specializing a high level of production of many diverse components.
Sirio’s second site for production, located in the near industrial area of Bresseo di Teolo, has been operational since 2008 is specialized in the production of large transformers.
The following year Sirio India was founded in New Delhi to serve as a point of reference for trade in Southeast Asia. As of today, Sirio India Inductive Components is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sirio Elettronica srl.
Sirio’s growth over time has resulted in the purchase of a major equipment fleet: machines and tools with a high level of automation, such as to realize an improvement in technological and production processes in order to be able to give faster and more flexible responses regarding to time.
The expansion of the production sites were in great need for additional space. Therefore in 2014, a new building was acquired in the same industrial area in Teolo. A few years later in 2018, the construction of a three-story building begins on the adjacent land, which completed in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Technical Department is strengthened, the idea of a research laboratory is born next to the historical R&D laboratory, a second laboratory was settled and was operational in 2023, in a different and dedicated location: it is intended only for the study of new technologies and new products to be proposed in the domestic and international market.

Since the beginning Sirio Inductive Components had a twofold aim: the company progress and the attention to workers.
Beside the achievement of technical goals bringing on the industrial market electromagnetic components with high quality and reliability (due to the staff specialization, to the high automation and to the accurate inspection tests), Sirio always paid special attention to the workers reconciling their interest with the capital interest.
The values of participation to the company life has been present inside Sirio during its whole history and it has brought to the creation of the Sirio Association in 2001.
This is an Association in which all workers can freely participate after having signed a non-competition act.The company registered the 20% of the authorized capital to the Sirio Association: in this way the workers can enter the partners’ meeting through the elected president and can control the 20% of the capital participating to the most important decisions of the company.
In case of distribution of profits, the Association has liquid assets that can use only for training of members or employees, according to the Association statute, and not for other purposes.
Following on from above mentioned experience, in 2006 Sirio received the award “Quality in development” promoted by the Rotary Clubs of Padua. In 2007 Sirio was selected by Unioncamere (Union of Chambers of Commerce) and presented in Rome as example of “Good Practice of Social Responsibility of the Enterprises”.

Driven by Quality
In Sirio Elettronica la Politica per la Qualità è parte integrante della strategia aziendale, è il motore stesso del business. Sirio lavora in regime di Qualità controllata già dalla metà degli anni ottanta; nell’anno 1994 ha ricevuto la prima certificazione ISO.
Strutturare l’azienda secondo la ISO 9001:1994 ha creato passo passo una mentalità della Qualità, migliorando il senso di responsabilità delle persone. Inoltre, il sistema di procedure attivato ha permesso un più facile dialogo interno e una più facile diminuzione di errori e disguidi.
Il percorso per implementare la Qualità è proseguito negli anni successivi fino alla ISO 9001:2015. Nel recepire la nuova normativa, Sirio conferma ancora una volta la sua politica orientata alla Qualità. Già dal 1994, infatti, l’azienda è organizzata per processi, con un contorno di servizi a supporto dei processi fondamentali.
Stabilire gli obiettivi, attuarli, poi monitorare i processi e i prodotti/servizi, e infine intraprendere azioni per migliorare le prestazioni, ove necessario: è questo approccio (ciclo PDCA: pianificare – fare – verificare – agire) che permette all’azienda di essere ancor oggi presente nel mercato internazionale. Allo stesso modo, in questi 50 anni di vita affrontare i rischi e le opportunità (risk based thinking) è stata la base per accrescere il sistema Qualità e così rimanere concorrenziali.
Ma gli scenari cambiano, e sempre più velocemente. Dinanzi ai mutamenti – interni ed esterni – Sirio Elettronica ritiene che l’unica strada possibile per dare un valore aggiunto all’azienda, per progettare un futuro, sia quella di non smettere di interrogarsi su come si può implementare l’adeguatezza e l’efficacia del sistema di gestione per la Qualità.
La tensione al miglioramento rimane continua.

Sirio Elettronica srl nasce con lo scopo di progettare e produrre componenti elettromagnetici di elevata qualità per applicazione in elettronica industriale e professionale, in particolare nel settore della conversione di potenza e in applicazioni ad alte frequenze e con alto isolamento. Settori di applicazione dei componenti Sirio sono: azionamenti, saldatura, ups e i vari ambiti dove si utilizza la conversione di potenza in alta frequenza.
Attualmente l’azienda produce un milione e mezzo di componenti l’anno, con un fatturato che ha raggiunto i 10 milioni di euro. Oltre il 75% dei prodotti è commercializzato nel mercato europeo e internazionale: dalla Germania alla Spagna, dalla Svezia al Sud Africa, dal Brasile a Taiwan, all’Australia, alla Cina.
