Great news in 2023 at Sirio Elettronica: a new research laboratory is already up and running at the production complex via Volta 2.

Lab area: approx. 150 m2.

Our purpose is researching innovative types of transformers that will be used in high frequency converters. The new concept should, at the same time, offer higher efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs through new fully-automated production systems. Currently, the laboratory equipments allow to test new prototypes operating in switch mode converters up to 250 kHz, power rating of 15 kW.

Furthermore, our intention is to extend the power of the converters up to 50 kW.
